Everyday (almost 26 months)

Everyday .....I listen to him speak more and more words and he tells us what he wants....More like demands ...Andrew chair...he tells Andrew were to sit. My favorite mispronounced words are Hungry and Butterfly. Hungry is Honey and butterfly is flyfly or fla-fly, Rainbow is just rain. He's got well over 100 words probably more like 200+he says and he repeats everything. He can name just about everything now: Clouds, sail boat, piggy, bunny, etc...... and make the noises the animal say. He puts together sentences mostly No Andrew, mine! Mommy juice! Mommy no night night! He knows most of his colors: red, yellow, pink, black,blue He knows most of his shapes: square, triangle, rectangle, star, circle, moon and hexagon some times He knows alot of his alphabet: A,B, H,R L, M, O and the lower case letters of them as well. He might know more but these are the ones he will point out and tell me. He knows some of the characters on the shows he watches and will tell you their names. Can build a block tower up to 12 blocks! His favorite thing is match box cars. He loves these. You can find him with 2-3 of them in his hand at any given time. And if the car has wheels that are removeable-he takes them off. He loves tires and wheels. Right now he names the colors of the cars as we go for a walk. I'm expecting soon I will be watching Nascar and he's going to be naming makes and models of them and not just the color. He still likes to be cuddled and gives kisses . He loves walks and playing outside. He's not a big fan of the cold or snow or sled rides. Favorite food are: grapes, bananas, potatoes,crackers and bagels. He eat most everything. Does have a major sweet tooth.

And you wonder how I end up with so much sauce on my face. Everybody knows the top of the pizza is the best part.

Yeah we are almost there.....2. Feels like we have already entered the realm. With the daily temper tantrums and the attitude. There's no doubt you want things your way. You're wild and crazy at times and little laid back. You like cuddling with mommy or daddy when you are over tired. You are mischievous and like to get into everything and anything. Cars and Trains are favorites, matchbox cars litter the house and yet there never seems to be enough as they travel. You like water , eating snow. Playing in the snow is not a lot of fun, and you don't care for sleigh rides or ice skating. You run, jump, climb everywhere. You are Mr independent and if you can't be it ticks you off big time. You like fighting and provoking your brother.

Language. Almost daily now you are picking up new words, you have understood everything for months now but have been slow to start talking ...."Oww hurt." is a favorite saying. There's probably too many words to write down that you know: kitty, meow, night night, teeth, all done (al di) toes, socks,stuck, keys, car, apple, uppie, mommy, daddy, Andrew, yuck, fish, moon, eat ball, balloon, fries, duck, those are favorites. There are many many more.

You have a favorite blankie that you like when you sleep and you get mad when we have to wash it.

Schedule Up around 6:30-7 am Nap around 12pm (2-3hours) Bedtime 8pm. Playing and eating in the middle.
