Finally he is walking instead of holding on and pushing his little cart

At 9 months old

He's quite the little character now. He definately likes and dislikes stuff now. Food is a favorite, I haven't feed him anything he hasn't liked and now he likes everything BUT the baby food. I can't put anything in my mouth without letting him try some. He stands and takes up to 10 steps when he wants. He's a FAST crawler and loves pushing those baby walker toys around the house. This is a daily occurance. He's fast and can get them unstuck. I've decided he will not walk but run when it finally happens as he's all about being fast. I think he's finally able to do with the walker what he watched Andrew do for months and thats run back and forth through the living room and dining room. He LOVES big stuffed animals. He loves to bury his face into them and give them a big hug. Of course he likes to do this to live animals too. Its hard to know if he knows words as he likes to chatter but he is great at repeating words already. I've heard Hi, Hello, I love you, maybe and there's the usual da-da and ba-ba he says over and over. I really think he knows da-da AND he also likes saying it. Its like his name. He knows it but since I say it all the time he ignores me saying it. Its when other people say it he looks at them.

Still There...

Just in case you thought it had totally disappeared.... Nope the umbilical hernia is still there and visible but its not bothering anyone and its not huge so there it stays and hopefully it will repair itself with time. It just kind of looks funny but with it being cold you can't usually see it with all the clothes on

Special Greeting.....

So I heard if you sent and anouncement to the president you get a greeting back. So I did for Jonathan and this is what I got back. Its a nice keepsake for his baby book and fun for him to have.

It was looking at him climb into the basinette and seeing how big he was it really hit me. I remember how little he was in there when I first brought him home and that I could have fit 2 of him in ther at the time. Now I don't think he could fit in there comfortably. Not to mention he can now climb in and out like its no big deal

I Had a Check up

I'm doing great,advanced and strong. I gave the doctors and nurses a little exercise as I wanted to play and not be poked. I'm now 18lbs and 10oz, 26 inches long. Got a few more shots that as usual caused me to have a fever in the evening.

6 months going on 6 yrs

I like the scooter Mommy!!! He did too! He got all excited when Andrew was on it and tried crawling to it. We stopped him... He really is one for wanting to do everything despite being 6 months old! Its funny most of the time he sits in his stroller and is calm and people would think this is a "normal" 6 month old not one that is very active and on the move more than he should be. The nurse said something about him creeping and I sad no he's crawling. Even that I don't think they understand if you let him he would be gone putting him on the floor. He that good a crawler. Now he not only pulls himself up but clears counters. He grabbed a cup on the table spilled it and tried drinking the rest of the water out of it. Today he did FINALLY say DA-DA!!! He is now more into saying Eeeee all day long and GIGI than Aghoo. He still spits up alot and especially after milk products... this sucks as he sees Ice cream and wants it!!!

Beach Baby!!!

Swimming in Grandma and grandpa's pool everyday for the last week has made Jonathan a BIG fan of the water and at the beach he was having a GREAT time !! What a face. Could he be any happeir!?!?

Bills Game

Jonathan went to his first preseason Buffalo Bills game... It was a hot day and he ended up getting an injury as he was cruising the chairs there and fell. They were sharp and he got a little nick that bled alot but he was fine once he calmed down and was wonderful there

Let Me Out!!

My big brother gets to play outside, Why can't I!?! He's driving me crazy this morning! He was swinging from his Johnny Jump up and when Andrew did open the door to go out he followed!! He's climbing and hanging off of everything. He's 6 months old for goodness sake!!! I feel bad he's got a cut on his forhead but Andrew at a year had bruises too from tryingto walk. Its just he's so young.......
